Dessislava holds a postgraduate degree in Business and Tax Law from University Paris II Panthéon-Assas. She began her career in 2008 as an associate at CVML. Then she joined Peltier Juvigny Marpeau & Associés, where she was appointed counsel in 2017. She worked as a partner at Velvet Avocats, which she joined in 2019, before joining Karman Associés in 2022 to create the Litigation & Arbitration department.

Dessislava has a recognized expertise in corporate litigation (M&A, governance and shareholder disputes) as well as in banking, stock market and financial litigation. She also handles complex commercial litigation and arbitration cases.

She provides assistance and advice in pre-litigation matters such as negotiations of transactions, controls and investigations conducted by the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) or by the French Prudential Control Authority (ACPR).

Dessislava works with French and foreign companies, investment funds, financial institutions, managers, corporate officers and shareholders, and devotes her energy to finding positive and structuring solutions to the litigation and pre-litigation cases entrusted to her.

Dessislava’s practice has been qualified as “Highly Recommended” in the “Financial, Banking and Equity Litigation” ranking of Décideurs magazine.
